WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I MAKE PAYMENT?
1. ROTATION HAS BEEN REQUESTED
The preceptor will check the details of your rotation request as well as your profile once it has been submitted. This procedure can take up to 5-7 business days on average.
PAPER WORK FOR THE PERCEPTORS AND HOW IT WORKS
Paperwork for the Preceptor is in the works.
We'll give them the university papers we have on file for your institution once the preceptor accepts your request. We'll have them fill out a preceptor and administrator information form instead if your school chooses to provide papers directly.
Your NPHub Student Coordinator will collaborate with you and your Preceptor to complete this papers as soon as possible. This procedure can take up to 7-10 business days to complete, however it is frequently completed much sooner.
THE FINAL PAYMENT IS DUE.
You'll get an email when your paperwork is finished, letting you know that everything is ready to download! Your remaining balance is payable at this time. Please bear in mind that if you do not make a payment or if you do not select a payment plan, your remaining balance will be auto-charged within 14 calendar days.
Along with your paperwork, you'll get a copy of your preceptor's résumé, license information, and board certification.
APPROVAL FROM UNIVERSITY IS PENDING
Once you've downloaded your documents, submit it as soon as possible to your university. Check in with your university clinical coordinator on a regular basis to see if they have any new information.
And don't worry if your school rejects the preceptor; we'll either locate you another site (if one is available) or refund your money.
SCHEDULING ROTATIONS
Make sure to log into your Rotation Request Dashboard and select the "My School Has Approved" option once your university has approved your preceptor/clinical location. This informs your preceptor (as well as us) that you're ready to schedule.
Your NPHub Student Coordinator will then give you the contact information for your preceptor/site so that you may work out a timetable with them directly.
Please notify your Student Coordinator if the start date you decide with your preceptor differs from the one you originally provided! That way, once you've started, we can check in to see how things are going.
THE ROTATION HAS BEGUN
You've made it all the way to the end - well done! Once your clinical rotation is over, you can post an evaluation for your preceptor and clinical rotation on your Request Dashboard.
When you're ready to book your next preceptor, make sure to let your NPHub Student Coordinator know so they can recommend a preceptor who meets your needs and your university's criteria!
