Dr. Modupe “Mary” Okonofua is a dual board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) who provides supportive, evidence-based treatment for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults.

Patients working with Dr. Mary benefit from comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, psychotherapy, and individualized treatment planning. She is known for her calm, compassionate approach and her safe prescribing philosophy of “start low and go slow,” which helps patients feel comfortable and supported throughout their care.

With broad experience in inpatient, outpatient, and partial hospitalization settings, Dr. Mary brings both knowledge and empathy to her practice. Licensed in Texas, Colorado, and Arizona, she is dedicated to delivering culturally sensitive, patient-centered mental health services that empower individuals and families to heal, grow, and thrive.

Mr.  Cardinal is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado and is part of NuMedical Psychiatry Clinic team. Mr. Cardinal  is a native of Pueblo Colorado and has been working in the field of  mental health for over 20 years. Mr. Cardinal  holds a Masters in  Community Counseling, a Masters in Business Administration and is

currently completing his Doctoral program focusing on Psychology.

Mr.  Cardinal believes that everyone struggles at some point in their lives  and counseling is a great resource to help an individual through the  crisis. In addition, “I will strive to create an empowering therapeutic  environment to help you become successful”. “My overall goal is to give  you the skills and tools needed to become the overall best version of  you”.

Mr.  Cardinal has experience in trauma, depression, anxiety, behavioral  issues, relationship issues, communication problems, grief, and loss.  “We will work together to empower you with the right skills and  techniques to overcome the challenges you are experiencing”. With over seven years of diverse nursing experience in psychiatric, medical-surgical, and emergency care, she brings a wealth of knowledge and a deeply patient-centered approach to every session.

Her care is trauma-informed, evidence-based, and designed around your goals — whether you’re facing depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, insomnia, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, or personality disorders.
