Dr.   Mary has a calm demeanor, compassionate, down to earth and takes pride   in safely treating patients. Her work experience covers inpatient,   partial hospitalization program, and outpatient settings. Dr. Mary is   very knowledgeable in psychotropic medications and has the prescription   philosophy to ''start low and go slow. 

 Dr.   Modupe "Mary" Okonofua holds dual board-certification as a Psychiatric   Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and a Family Nurse  Practitioner  (FNP). She received her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree  and FNP at  Walden University, Post-master’s Certificate in PMHNP at  Wilkes  University. With vast experience in mental health, Dr. Mary is  able to  care for children, adolescent, adult and geriatric population.    Licensed in Texas, Colorado and Arizona. 

James Cardinal, LPC, MBA (Individual and Couples / Family Therapy in Colorado)

Mr.  Cardinal is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado and is part of NuMedical Psychiatry Clinic team. Mr. Cardinal  is a native of Pueblo Colorado and has been working in the field of  mental health for over 20 years. Mr. Cardinal  holds a Masters in  Community Counseling, a Masters in Business Administration and is

currently completing his Doctoral program focusing on Psychology.

Mr.  Cardinal believes that everyone struggles at some point in their lives  and counseling is a great resource to help an individual through the  crisis. In addition, “I will strive to create an empowering therapeutic  environment to help you become successful”. “My overall goal is to give  you the skills and tools needed to become the overall best version of  you”.

Mr.  Cardinal has experience in trauma, depression, anxiety, behavioral  issues, relationship issues, communication problems, grief, and loss.  “We will work together to empower you with the right skills and  techniques to overcome the challenges you are experiencing”.
